Skills to Learn for Self-Sufficiency

In a society full of toxic food, profit-seeking pharmaceutical advice and satanic morals and behaviors, as Christians, we should be sticking together and learning how to become more reliant on each other and ourselves. Learning and teaching skill to one another will help us deal with emergencies, tribulation or worse. It is important to learn a diverse set of skills and knowledge to enhance their ability to survive and thrive in challenging situations. Some of the areas we should prioritize for learning include:

  1. Survival Skills: This encompasses a wide range of abilities such as shelter building, fire starting, water purification, foraging, hunting, trapping, and basic medical treatment. Aim to be self-sufficient in meeting their basic needs in the wild or during emergencies.
  2. Food Preservation and Storage: Learning techniques for preserving food, such as canning, dehydrating, and fermenting, as well as knowledge about long-term food storage methods to ensure a stable food supply in times of scarcity.
  3. Self-defense and Security: Acquiring skills in self-defense, including martial arts, firearms training, and tactical strategies, as well as knowledge about home security systems and fortification to protect themselves and their families.
  4. First Aid and Medical Skills: Gaining knowledge about first aid, CPR, wound care, and basic medical treatment to address injuries and illnesses in emergency situations when access to professional medical help may be limited.
  5. Emergency Preparedness Planning: Developing comprehensive plans for various emergency scenarios, including evacuation routes, communication protocols, and contingency plans for natural disasters, civil unrest, or other crises.
  6. Off-Grid Living Skills: Learning how to live off the grid by generating alternative sources of energy (such as solar power or wind power), collecting rainwater, managing waste, and growing food through gardening or raising livestock.
  7. Navigation and Orienteering: Developing skills in map reading, using a compass, and navigating terrain to find their way in unfamiliar environments or during situations where GPS technology may be unavailable.
  8. Communication Skills: Understanding how to operate radios and other communication devices, as well as learning codes and protocols for communicating with others in a secure and efficient manner.
  9. Psychological Resilience: Building mental resilience to cope with stress, fear, and uncertainty that may arise during emergencies or disasters, as well as learning techniques for maintaining morale and staying focused under pressure.
  10. Community Building and Networking: Establishing connections with other Christians, farms and community help programs to share resources, knowledge, and support networks, fostering mutual assistance and collaboration in times of need.

Overall, we should seek to cultivate a diverse skill set and knowledge base that empowers us to adapt, survive, and thrive in challenging situations, whether they be natural disasters, economic crises, or other emergencies.
